Our response to the Coronavirus

With the input and guidance from the State Department of Health (DOH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) relating to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Cain & Cain, Estate Planners for Life™ is implementing certain safety measures for your health and well-being.

As of Wednesday, March 18th, 12:00 p.m., we are locking the front door and posting a notice that we are no longer allowing members of the general public to enter our offices for the next 14 days. At this point, given the small size of our team, one or two of us may still be inside the office working on various client matters at times or we may be working remotely from home. We are confident we can take precautions internally to protect ourselves from unnecessary exposure and contact.

For existing clients, the notice will remind everyone that we are monitoring the situation carefully, checking phone messages and email on a regular basis, and are available to respond to client questions. We will be able to provide any requested necessary documents by regular mail, via our client portal document exchange, email, fax, or simply leaving copies for arranged pick up from our drop box to the right of our front door. We will evaluate any requests for any in-person meetings on a case-by-case basis and consider possible arrangements. We will be happy to offer online virtual meetings via ZOOM meetings if we conclude that is the most reasonable response to any requests.

While we recognize that our working remotely can be a bit disruptive to you as our client, it is essential that we prioritize the health and safety of all our clients, team and respective families. Cain & Cain will continue to monitor this fluid situation and communicate as needed.
